Hands on Learner
The quiz said that I am a very strong kinesthetic learner, and I completely agree. In school, I always enjoyed field trips, trial and error lessons, and using hands on experiments. I completely agree with what the quiz told me to do, 'Study without tears', or convert my lecture notes into a learnable package by reducing them. It also told me to role play the exam situation in my own room, which, I think, would actually help me. I feel that this test is accurate; throughout my life I have always been a hands on learner.

Digital Media is changing language
Are digital media changing language?
Quote: It's natural for languages to evolve. But what should really concern us is the way computers and mobile phones are changing our attitudes toward language.
Response:I think that digital media is changing the way we communicate with others for various reasons. The first reason being cell phones; they are very helpful in many situations, but they can also be harmful. People are so used to ‘lingo’ that cell phones have brought, that it is effecting the way people talk and write. For example, kids in schools have been using abbreviations for words, which is a big change from before cell phones were used frequently. In the article, it says that they have been doing studies in which finding out that children know when to use the right context when they need to; but being around other people I can tell the difference between the lingo and the way people used to speak.

Wordle and Poll Everwhere Assignment
In this class, we have used the tools Poll Everywhere and Wordle. We first used Poll Everywhere to learn different things about the students in this class. I asked the what everyones' favorite color; it was a great tool and very easy to use. We also used the tool, Wordle. It was fun to group the words together, and I think that it would be great to use in a classroom setting.
Lesson Plan Ideas:
A teacher could ask the students to use Poll Everywhere to get to know the students better. Similar to what we did in this class, but to use it more detailed. At the end of the polling process, the students could present to the class their findings so they could better understand details about eachother. I think it is a great resource for students because it gives them a chance to do techonology learning but also have fun with it.
The two tools are could promote the future of classroom because it teaches them how to use technology. It is a fun way of learning to get the children interested. I think it could be used in any of the subjects.
